Peter Schenk, P.Eng.
Chief Executive Officer
Peter has a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Lakehead University, a diploma in Electronics Engineering Technology from SAIT, and a red seal Journeyman Electrician certificate from SAIT. He is a registered P.Eng. in Alberta (APEGA), British Columbia (EGBC), Saskatchewan (APEGS), and Manitoba (APEGM) and a member of PMI.
Peter leads a talented group of senior management in providing direction, corporate strategic planning, and stewardship for Beta-Tech. He has over 30 years of practical experience in Electrical, Control Systems, and Instrumentation Engineering and design.
Chief Financial Officer
Warren is a co-founder, Vice President and CFO at Beta-Tech Inc.
Warren holds a diploma in Industrial Instrumentation Technology from NAIT and red seal Journeyman certificates in instrumentation and electrical.
Warren currently leads the automation and accounting departments at Beta-tech and has over 28 years of industry experience in Control Systems, instrumentation, electrical design and construction. His responsibilities include directing corporate finances as well as project management, and technical lead for automation projects. Warren’s practical experience includes 12 years in oil and gas production, and 16 years in engineering, design and construction.
Mike Gaccioli, P.E., PMP
Chief Operating Officer
Mike has a diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology, is a registered Professional Engineer (P.E. Vermont) and a Project Management Professional (PMP). Mike is an active member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and an active community volunteer.
Mike’s career began with six years in the Canadian Armed Forces working on instrumentation and electrical systems before returning to school to be trained as an Electrical Engineering Technologist.
Mike worked extensively in the USA as a consulting engineer on manufacturing, microelectronics, and infrastructure projects. Mike made the move to Calgary in 2005 working on various energy projects from large Oil-sands upgrader and SAGD facilities to control system migrations and middle eastern pipelines.
Scott Myslicki, P.Tech.
Director of Quality & HSE
Scott is Director of Quality and HSE, a Project Manager, and Senior Control Systems Specialist.
Scott has been with Beta-Tech since 2011 and has worked as Director of Quality and HSE, Project Manager, and Senior Control Systems Specialist. Currently he leads the Quality and HSE initiatives within Beta-Tech, as well as providing Project Management, and Control Systems expertise for projects.
Scott has a diploma in Industrial Instrumentation Technology from SAIT. He is a registered P.Tech. (Eng.) with ASET.
His responsibilities include guiding the company Quality and HSE programs, as well as providing day to day leadership and technical expertise to projects. He has over twenty years of practical experience in the control system, instrumentation, and flow measurement fields related to his involvement with various types and sizes of projects in industry such as conventional oil, SAGD, gas, power generation, pipelines, and CO2 Liquefaction.
Director of Human Resources
Tim is the Director of Human Resources and manages the Drafting Department. Tim has completed many projects both as a designer and as a project manager in his years as a consultant. Tim started with Beta-Tech in 2011 as a project manager. Tim became a partner in 2013 and has added drafting manager and director of human resources to his responsibilities.
Tim’s experience in the oil and gas sector began in 1982 in southern Saskatchewan as an EI&C contractor. From 1982 to 2001 Tim held many positions as a contractor in Saskatchewan and Alberta such as apprentice, journeyman, foreman, estimator, designer and area manager.
This vast experience formed a well-rounded base of knowledge for Tim when he made the transition to consulting in 2001. Practical design and constructability experience makes Time a valuable asset.
